If you’re like me, your days are filled with nonstop from sunrise to sunset. Between attending class, studying at Starbucks, going to the gym, doing homework and answering e-mails (oh the life of a college student…), I rarely have any time downtime, let alone time to spend in the kitchen… My go-to? Quest Bars. I don’t know how I survived without them! They are perfect for any time of day. Breakfast? Yep. Lunch? Sure. Dinner? Why not. And of course, as a high protein, low carb snack in-between meals. A few favorites include the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (the chunks are UNREAL), Double Chocolate Chunk, Apple Pie, Chocolate Brownie and Cookies & Cream. They have many more flavors as well (Lemon Pie, PB & J, White Chocolate Raspberry and Strawberry Cheesecake just to name a few). However, I have yet to try majority of their flavors! Each bar is around 160-200 calories, has an estimated 20 grams of protein, and (get this) virtually 0 grams of sugar. Perfect. Now, don’t get me wrong… NOTHING beats a home cooked meal of lean protein and a plateful of vegetables or a steaming bowl of oatmeal with fresh berries, BUT the next best thing (and in some cases better..)? Quest Bars.
